At least Chavez was useful to alert the latin americans against the dangers of communism.

Bolivia is almost in a civil war because of the measures taken by Evo Morales (which includes the approval of a new constitution by a group of congressman hidden in barracks). Some governors are already considering the division of the country if the socialist reforms persist.

Today, here in Brazil, a newspaper published a poll revealing that the majority of the people is against the possibility of a third term for our president, Lula (although he have declared several times he does not intend to try a third term, members of his party talks openly about the possibility and already proposed to call a special assembly for a constitutional reform in our political system).

They are still in power, but these defeats shall slow down their socialist agenda.
