Today is the 125th Anniversary of Ludwig von Mises' birth. Mises was arguably the most important economist of the 20th century and defined once and for all the boundaries of socialism and capitalism. His definition of economic calculation was the most influential and important piece of literature written in the century, especially for us fans of the free market. His influence cannot be summed up briefly, but do yourself a favor and brush up on, or introduce yourself to, Ludwig von Mises.
