Campaign Descriptions

The campaign is essential to Bureaucrash's information war. Campaigns are educational, and designed to expose the ideas of liberty to as many minds as possible. They are focused on issues. Check out the descriptions of our campaigns. You are encouraged to volunteer to work on a campaign, or even for a position as Campaign Czar.

Campus

Dedicated to promoting the ideals of liberty on college campuses. It is well known that the majority of college professors are self-identified leftists. Campus is geared toward helping students cope with the statist nature of academia. More here» | Join here »

Anti-Che

To debunk the myth of the idolized "rebel" Che Guevera. The campaign will educate the guilt-stricken middle class, and those in Hollywood about the real Che. Bottom line: real rebels don't support an authoritarian state. More here » | Join here »

Homeland Tyranny

Designed in order to keep track and make the citizenry aware of domestic infringement of rights in the name of security. This campaign keeps a close eye on legislation such as the Patriot Act, and bureaucratic departments such as Homeland Security. Are violations of civil liberties the best answer to those that want to destroy the American way of life? This campaign stands up for security of the homeland while rejecting any policies that undermine our fundamental rights.  read more »

Quick note to Wired

This is in reference to the “Biggest Discoveries of 2005” article:

Dear Sir or Madam:

1. It's getting hot in here: Thanks to the Asian tsunami and Hurricane Katrina, global warming can no longer be ignored. There’s no doubt about it: Earth’s climate is heating up.

That quote is representative of absolutely pathetic, and irresponsible, journalism. The questions of global warming are important. However, there is no link between either of those two events and global warming. To place that claim in the number one spot, and then not even back it up, is ridiculous.  read more »

Earth Liberation Webmaster

Hope 2006 is starting out just fine for everyone.

I'm posting this blog hoping to find a webmaster for our Earth Liberation campaign. We already have a decent website, but it needs to be updated and maintained. I'm hoping that someone is out there that can take on this project.

We already have an active campaign leader who is ready to have some of his content published.

Check out the site.

WANTED: Capitalist

One of Bureaucrash's most storied campaigns is Enjoy Capitalism. A number of the libertarians I have met immediately associated "Bureaucrash" with the "Enjoy Capitalism" tee. That t-shirt was even worn by Andrey Illarionov, economic adviser to the Russian President, at a G-8 summit. There are a number of websites who have even stolen our design. There is no question about the meme's effectiveness.

What Bureaucrash needs now is someone willing to lead the Enjoy Capitalism campaign. This is your opportunity to step up and take a position as Campaign Czar. Your mission would be to promote and defend the ideals of capitalism. It would require regular blogging.

From the official description:

The Enjoy Capitalism campaign is devoted to promoting, defending, and celebrating the ideals of capitalism. Many shun capitalism as a system of greed and injustice. There is much empirical evidence proving that capitalism is actually a machine that generates peace, better living standards, and human freedom. Bottom line: capitalism heals; socialism kills.

If you are interested in this position, or would like more information, leave a comment here, or email me.

Three cheers for Bureaucrash!

Glad to see that Bureaucrash is up and running again. The new site looks great. Good job, HQ!

I didn't use the BureauBLOG feature in the past, but think I might be more active now. For now, though, I need to get to work on launching a few of the campaign sites.
