A video I made a while back happened to get picked up by American public radio about Student Loan Socialism.

“But the plan is facing fierce opposition from free market proponents. Take this jab posted on YouTube by the Competitive Enterprise Institute
Video by the Competitive Enterprise Institute:
‘We at the federal government are proposing an entire takeover of the student loan industry. The Student Aid and Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2009 would give us the power to decide your educational future. Please give us the power, because we’re the federal government, and we should control everything.’”

The Federal Government will now decide who qualifies for a student loan. What will they base this on? SAT scores? Choice of major? Choice of school. NO! Family income and race, just like any other government handout will determine who gets a loan andunder what terms.
Its the Neighborhood Recovery Act for education! Just as so many mortgages were given to people with no possibility of their ever repaying it, so too will 'education loans' be given to students who are not ready for college and certainly not ready to undertake the rigor of an education that would prepare them for a real job.
    Another liberal bubble!
