Push Back! No New Taxes in Washington State

Posted on March 20th, 2009 by Pete Eyre in Bureaucrash HQ

pushbackshirtTaxpayers all over the nation are rallying on Wednesday, April 15 to stop tax increases in their states. Our friends at the Evergreen Freedom Foundation (EFF) are leading the charge against new taxes in the Washington State and are holding rallies on Tax Day (Wednesday, April 15th) at the steps of the state capital in Olympia and in Spokane.

If you’re within driving distance of either rally and believe individuals know best how to spend their money, Bureaucrash strongly encourages you to join and connect with them and thousands of other principled freedom fighters who are fed up with being fleeced by lawmakers.

It’s a campaign Bureaucrash is honored to be a part of and one that’s worth getting involved in. To do so:

Need more reason to get active? According to the Tax Foundation, the average American works until April 23rd just to pay their taxes. Does that make sense?

Death and taxes? Hell no! I say give me life and liberty! It’s time to Push Back!

Wondering just why it is we take such a strong stance against taxes? Then check out our Tax Slavery Sucks intel overview.

Props to Crasher 8FT8H8 for the piece below, which points out that government actors believe they know how to better spend your money than you do. You think that’s true? If not, then connect with other freedom fighters on Bureaucrash Social and work to figure out ways to educate others on such a perspective and ways to potentially lessen your tax burden.
