One of the pros of living in New Hampshire and being a member of the Free State Project is you get to get your activism on big time. This Wednesday, March 4, hundreds of liberty-minded folks will attend the Rally in Support of HCR6 (NH’s Sovereignty Bill) at the Statist House in Concord.

What’s up with HCR6, Doc? Similar to the Washington State resolution Crasher-Blogger J. Nick Puglia wrote about a while back, it’s our rallying cry that enough is frigging enough! It’s our line in the sand. If there is further egregious, serious disrespect of the US Constitution by the Federal government, then New Hampshire must reclaim its sovereignty. That’s right, folks! Our time has come.

Introduced by Representative Dan Itse–who, incidentally, will be teaching a class on the NH Constitution at this year’s Porcupine Freedom Festival, aka PorcFest (which I have the dubious honor of organizing, but that’s a whole other story!)–the resolution affirms States’ rights based on Jeffersonian principles.

And what, pray tell, are those again? Well, in a nutter shell, the Feds better step off stepping on the Constitution. Remember that quaint notion of the 10th amendment, you know, the one where “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people”? You know, US. The peeps. The peeps who are getting royally pissed off at all the bull being forced on us from the Hell Mouth, aka as Washington DC.

1. Email or call your State Reps. Simply, courteously, ask them to support HCR6 when it comes to a vote. Their contact info is at http://www.gencourt.state.nh.us/ns/whosmyleg/
2. Contact the Speaker of the House, Terie Norelli, terie.norelli@leg.state.nh.us or (603) 271-3661 and ask her to support HCR6 when it comes to the full legislature for a vote.
3. Contact all our delegation to the Federal government. Tell them you *demand* that they support HCR6! Be bold with them, they need a wake-up call!
4. Pass this info along to everyone you know!
