Just wanted to update you on Bureaucrash-related going-ons:

• Check out the post Cops, Cameras & Accountability in Arlington, VA that has touches on my latest run-in with the Arlington Co. Police Department and includes both the raw and edited video from the encounter. If you feel like letting the folks at the Arlington Co. Police Dept. know your feelings about the actions of their officers, here is their contact info.
• Xaq Fixx released a new Podcrash: Australian Internet Filter with Chris Berg of the Australian-based Institute of Public Affairs.

• If you’re thinking about putting your name in the hat to blog on Bureaucrash.com the deadline is this Saturday. Here are the details.
• I’ll be in Chicago at the end of the week. If you’re in Chicagoland join me and fellow crashers on Saturday downtown. Here are the details.
• And if you find yourself with a pressing political philosophy/policy question, want to get input for some activism, or just have some time to kill, check out the chat area on Bureaucrash Social (on the bottom of the homepage). On a personal note, in addition to developing some solid friendships, I find that I’m always learning and being forced to hone my arguments based on interactions with other crashers there. One telling sign is the dozen or more tabs open on my browser as I’m constantly checking out suggested books, articles, orgs, etc. that I wasn’t familiar with.
