“NSA Had Access to All American’s Communications” - So Says Former NSA Analyst

MSNBC’s Keith Obermann interviews former NSA analyst Russel Tice about government surveillance under Bush’s watch.

It’s important to remember that the Bush Administration would not have been able to carry out such actions without the precedent set by previous administrations - both Republican and Democrat. So how do we stop this? By electing new politicians that claim that they’ll “clean-up” government? Or by lessening the scope of government over our lives?

I choose the latter. For each of us, as individuals, to decide that we best know how to run our own lives - not some bureaucrat or politician. A revolution in our mind so that we cease to not grant government authority over us. As Leo Tolstoy noted, “Everyone thinks about changing the world, but no one thinks about changing himself.”

For more on this check out our Homeland Tyranny overview, which touches on other rights-violating government surveillance such as CARNIVORE and ECHELON.

Thanks to the good folks at the Free State Project and Liberty Conspiracy for putting this on our radar and for helping to spread the word.
