Crashers,

I hope you’ve been well. For those of you heading back to school, best of luck, and remember to think for yourself and encourage others to do so as well.

Check out our newest video Heller Yeah! It’s the video I’m most proud of since coming on-board here at Bureaucrash so please let us know what you think.

beatspeppersprayWe’ve made a couple shirts — Pepper Spray vs Gun and The Great Equalizer — that show our stance on gun rights, and together with Dick Heller, made a couple more — DC v Heller and Lady Justice Weighs DC v Heller — that address his case specifically (for which half the proceeds go to Heller’s foundation). Want more? Listen to Heller on CEI’s weekly podcast.

podcrashSince the last Bulletin, Xaq has released two excellent Podcrashes. In the most-recent, Xaq interviewed Cory Doctorow about this newest book Little Brother. Doctorow is co-founder of the BoingBoing, has worked at EFF, and was the first to publish a work of fiction under the Creative Commons license. About two weeks before that, Xaq released his interview with Joe Young, guitarist of the punk-metal band ANTiSEEN, candidate for office under the Libertarian Party banner in his native North Carolina, and all-around good guy.

In addition to the gun-rights and Heller-inspired t-shirts mentioned above, we’ve got two more new Contraband offerings. We decided to weigh in on the spirit of the election season with Abstain and Mock the Vote.

Finally, a big thanks to those that have helped represent Bureaucrash at events recently, particularly Andy Johnson and other crashers who helped spread the word for us at the Rally for the Republic. Because it’s only after folks are introduced to the ideas of freedom that we can we hope that they internalize them and become activists themselves.

In liberty,

-Pete

P.S. If any of y’all in the Phoneix area want to meet for dinner tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept. 10th, let me know: pete@bureaucrash.com. I’ll be in town at the State Policy Network’s annual shin-dig.
