An Open Letter to The National Campaign to Stop Red Light Running

Radley Balko reports that The National Campaign to Stop Red Light Running (being promoted by Ladies Home Journal) has started a petition with the goal of getting the federal government to require the use of red light cameras all across the country. They claim their goal is to save lives, however studies have shown that these cameras do not work, and are often not much more than a thinly veiled attempt at revenue collection.
