The Bureaucrash Bulletin: May 1st, 2008

May 1, 2008
Crashers,
It’s with great excitement that I’m sending you the first-ever Bureaucrash Bulletin. For those who don’t know me, let me take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Pete Eyre and I’m the new Crasher-in-Chief of Bureaucrash. Check out this video and my bio for some background.
First, some news to bring you up-to-speed about what we’ve been working on, info about a crash here in DC, then an important request.
The News
- We’re retooling our homepage. Due to popular demand the infamous Bureaucrash blog will be resurrected! Stay tuned for more…
Under the guidance of Contraband Czarina Rachel Maxem, we’re aggressively growing our merchandise operations, including our newest campaign, immiGREAT.- Thanks to crasher-extraordinaire Xaq Fixx we’ll soon be releasing biweekly PodCrashes!
- In less-than-stellar news, long-time crasher Brooke Oberwetter was unjustly arrested a few weeks ago at the Jefferson Memorial. She had been participating in a celebration organized months ago by Crasher-in-Chief Emeritus Jason Talley. A group of us to were celebrating the ideas advocated by the most principled of our Founding Fathers via a silent dance party. Unfortunately we found the U.S. Park Service weren’t fans. For more on this, check out this video and visit FreeTheJefferson1.com. Help Brooke in her fight to stand up to State aggression by donating to the legal defense fund (and if you donate $25+ you can get this sweet shirt).
The Crash: Sacrifice your lunch hour for liberty.
Tomorrow (Friday, May 2nd) join us in front of the Zimbabwean Embassy (1608 New Hampshire Ave, NW, Washington, DC 20009) from 12-2PM to let it be known that we won’t stand for the violations of individual rights being perpetrated by Mugabe’s Statist regime.
The Request
Please take a moment to update your contact information by clicking on the ”Manage Subscription” button below. Most important is your ZIP code as it will enable us to hit you up when there are crashes, events, or other goings-on in your area.
Thanks for your time and for your help freeing individuals from the shackles of the State. I look forward to working with you going forward.
In liberty,
-Pete
