Doctorow on DRM

Posted on April 28th, 2006 by codemonkey in Bureaucrash HQ

Yesterday in my Intro to Comp Sci class, we listened to a speech given by one Cory Doctorow regarding copyright, DRM, technology, and piracy. Audio available here (he’s an entertaining speaker, it’s really worth a listen). I didn’t agree with everything he said, but he brought up what I felt to be a couple of valid points about current business models within the entertainment industry.
