Buying Votes: Slicker than Oil Edition
Crashers have been covering the political maneuvering in regards to “high gas prices” with great interest. Crasher doinkicarus covered it here and here. Crashers intheday, codemonkey, XaqFixx all opined on the situation in addition to yours truly. I wanted to say a few words about our coverage. We were wrong. I personally jumped to conclusions and I learned my lessons. Sometimes in the heat of moments like this I get a bit excited. That was until I read that our political overlords might be giving me and every other taxpayer $100 bucks to shut the fuck up and stop complaining. This is right before elections which will be a little strange since I don’t vote but we’re talking about $100 bucks here.
