Statist of the Month: Ray Rogers
Unions aren’t event trying to hide the fact that they are anti-business anymore. Odd since where would union workers work without businesses? Ironically Ray Rogers started a business, Corporate Campaign, Inc., that specializes in smearing big businesses if his unions bosses give him the green light and enough greenbacks. The latest project of his not so stealthily named business is Killer Coke (To be fair & balanced Coke’s rebuttal site is here.) The goal of Rogers and his union bosses is simple: smear Coke and get their products removed from college campuses. Ray Rogers, is one of the pioneers of the union tactic of the corporate campaign and his story is related in Jarol Manheim’s book on the topic, The Death of a Thousand Cuts. Killer Coke brags that it is student led so Ray and his union bosses must be taking night classes.
